Cape Town is rich in plant life at the moment. The fynbos, which is a form of natural shrubland or heathland occurring in a small belt of the Western Cape of South Africa, comes to life during the wet wintery months. It’s always a treat to wander the many walks the city has to offer. This is a protea repens, commonly known as a “suikerbos”, which translates as sugar bush. I always look forward to seeing it.
